Made up with my win on this one!— Natalie (@Natalies_84) July 22, 2018
When I looked at the data, MLS looked like it was in for loads of goals this weekend, with 8 out of 10 prediction correct since Thursday for Both Teams To Score, using data the odds were in our favour this weekend to get a winner.
The 100/1+ Shot
So each week we are going to try and win big, we fell short this week with New York Red Bulls winning and both teams not scoring, while a 2-2 draw let us down in the game involving Real Salt Lake and Colorado.
Looking at the New York Redbulls game to start, I ended up cashing out this bet on 80 minutes in this game as it just looked like New England did not have the legs to get the goal, while New York were dangerous on the break, New England played away to Minnesota on Thursday and maybe 2 away games in 3 days cost them in front of goal. So going forward I will probably avoid teams who have had 2 quick away games in the MLS.
Pretty even game at Salt Lake, although this leg of the bet was only a few minutes away from coming in as Colorado equalised in the 88th minute. Salt Lake had taken a 2-0 lead in this game but just could not hold on. With Salt Lake being 13 points ahead in the table and at home I would of hoped they could of held on.
So although we did not land the big bet, I feel it was an encouraging bet and not far of landing, 1 goal for New England and Real Salt Lake holding on for a few more minutes and I’d have been a far richer man!
Keep your eyes peeled for the bet tips later in the week and let us together take the guessing out of betting by using data.
